iConstruct Building Group has been operating since 9th October 2019. iConstruct was started up by it’s Director, Justin Hellyer. Justin is a Carpenter by trade and has been in the residential building industry since 2005. He started out as an apprentice with a Sub-Contract Carpenter, mainly working with a framing crew for Henley Homes but not limited to, as they took on Lock-up, fixes & eaves. His family owned business, Parkway Homes also used Justin and the crew with their frames. 

In 2009, Justin qualified from his apprenticeship and became an employee of Parkway Homes as a Carpenter and site Supervisor, eventually getting off the tools full time and concentrating more on the supervision and Bill Of Quantity estimation of projects. Justin remained active on the tools with constant weekend work and at one stage, Sub-Contracting to another builder full time during a lull in the industry, taking on frames, lock-up, fixes and eaves.

Justin later returned to Parkway Homes and has remained with them ever since.

Justin was offered work renovating some offices, respite homes and centres through providers to NDIS. Justin was able to provide all required trades and services for the renovations. After they were completed, he started doing some Real Estate maintenance. Then followed on by Insurance Claim Repairs with Tandem Corporation. After Tandem ceased trading, Justin was searching around for other Insurance Repair Builder’s to continue on the path that he was on. After some time, finding another Repair Claim builder to work for. All of this while still working for Parkway Homes as a BOQ Estimator and Supervisor.
